Mary Ann Miller, ART



Mary Ann is a native Floridian, art educator, professional artist, book illustrator and author. She taught elementary school art in Jacksonville for 26 years before retiring in 2006. She is active in the Jacksonville and Florida Watercolor Societies.

For nearly 20 years she has traveled to Europe sketching and following in the footsteps of artists such as Van Gogh, Monet and Matisse. She has published two books of these watercolor sketches called “Travels with a Blue Vase” and “More Travels with a Blue Vase.”  Her work can be viewed on her website (above).

Currently she is teaching Travel Sketching at UNF (OLLI), art classes for home schoolers and art classes for adults with special needs. She will be taking a group of artists to Provence the summer of 2013.
