Mary (Fletcher) Shipp

A native of Jacksonville, Fletcher graduated from Wolfson Sr. High as a member of Quill and Scroll, and went on to graduate from Brenau Women’s College as a double Journalism and English major. She was the News Director and on-air reporter for WGGA in Gainesville, GA, following an interim to help found Brenau’s first campus radio station.

She fell in love with academic publishing while in grad school at UGA, and has been in and out of book publishing ever since. Since 2001, she has been a free-lance book editor (Making Millions in Direct Sales Malaghan, McGraw-Hill, 2005); she was Editor-in-Chief of GHOST! Magazine in 2008.
